• I bought this plugin as I needed a booking plugin on which worked with my work Google calendar. The lite version did not have the calendar integration enabled so I wrote and asked them about this and they said it would be good for me. I then purchased the Booking Ultra Pro plugin.

Unfortunately this plugin will just add an appointment to your Google calendar but won’t look at your Google calendar to see if appointments are free or not. I contacted help about this and they just said it doesn’t do two way sync. I have asked them if there is anything they can do to help me and they confirmed there was not. I then asked 3 times for a refund over a couple of weeks and there is just no reply. Generally you get good service from online suppliers, but not here.

I have since installed Bookly, another booking plug in, and it is working perfectly and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

So the Booking Ultra Pro people have got my money and I suppose I am happy because I found the Bookly plug in and this is going well, but I was shocked at the bad service from Booking Ultra Pro, and also the misleading description saying “Gogle Calendar integration.”

I hope this review can save someone some money.

  • @gbohl,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Our plugin doesn’t offer 2-way sync at the moment and we’re not advertising it anywhere.

If you’ve asked for a refund that shouldn’t be an issue, please update your ticket if you’ve already opened it and we will get back to you ASAP.

Good luck with your project. We will try to implement 2-way sync for GCAL ASAP.

    Cheers

I am guessing that I am not going to hear from you and my refund is not coming.

I would recommend that you should look after your customers better. I see that you currently have 16 1-star reviews and these are all from people who have purchased your product and it has not worked for them. If you just refunded these people they would not give you the 1-star review and you would have a better rating.

Also new customers would have the confidence in getting your plugin knowing that they were not taking a gamble on it. Currently they have to buy to see if it really works for them and if it doesn’t they have blown their money like I have.

I think that you are reducing your business success by not looking after people.
