If I am developing a WP site on a subdomain (i.e. develop.mysitename.com) and using Cooked Pro, will I need the Unlimited plan when moving to the main domain (www.mysitename.com) for launch?

As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their potential customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
