• Hi Jordy,
So we bought the Pro version yesterday, and have been playing around with it. It is very nice, but we are still a little confused.

Our website has around 4,000 images on it, and we are looking to be able to improve our SEO rankings by renaming a bunch of them, as well as adding Alt text and captions in the media library area. I see that there are places to do this, and we have been able to successfully get the image to save all of these details in the media library, but it breaks on the live site, and just shows an image placement holder. We can only seem to get it to show on the live site if we re-upload the image from media library into our page-builder plugin.
We would really like for it to work without that last step of having to delete the image and re-upload it manually. It would be perfect if we could just manually add int he details and them press “update”, and it would work… Am I missing something, or just asking for something that isn’t possible?

Is it not working because it’s simply not compatible with our version of wordpress (4.4.2) or our Page Builder Plugin? Or is it because I misunderstood what this plugin can do?

    Thanks so much,

    Hello outwestsaddl,

Am I missing something, or just asking for something that isn’t possible?

Normally it works the way you have described it 🙂

Is it not working because it’s simply not compatible with our version of wordpress (4.4.2) or our Page Builder Plugin?

What is this Page Builder Plugin? Does it handle the image in a very specific way? Do you see an URL for those images when you edit your page/posts? When you edit/rename the image, does this URL gets updated in the page/posts?

I am afraid the Page Builder might makes static reference to the filename directly instead of the Media ID. If information about this media changes, that wouldn’t be reflected in that case. That would be an interesting question to ask to the developers, maybe you could also ask them to come and comment here? They have might have an idea 🙂
