Hi @desgrapador
Please specify where exactly they see the private topic (on forum home, in recent topics list, on recent posts page, in widgets…)?
1. Try to disable HTML cache in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page (don’t disable other caches)
2. If you use some cache plugin, please find some way/option to exclude forum page (/community/) from this plugin. wpForo has it’s own cache and other cache plugins don’t work well with wpForo.
3. Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click on [Delete all caches] button.
4. Make sure you use the latest wpForo version
5. Only non-admin users should see 404 error. The private topic author and admins see the topic without any issue.
Hi,
I can see the private topics on forum home: https://crearwebprofesional.com/main-forum/ without log in. I think that private topics should be hidden in that list if I’m not an admin, moderator or the author. When I click on topic link I see the 404 error.
1) HTML cache disabled
2) Not using cache plugin
3) All wpForo caches deleted
4) Using latest wpForo version
5) With registered users everything is OK, but not logged users can see private topics in lists…
Thank you
Could you please check the WordPress database > wp_wpforo_posts table fields? Do you see private field in table structure. Use Hosting Service cPanle > phpMyAdmin database manager to check it.

I see private field in table structure in wp_wpforo_posts and wp_wpforo_topics tables.
Another test. I create a new site in http://poopy.life/. No plugins installed. Install wpForo. Check Turn WordPress to wpForo option. Save. Create private topic at the example forum. Open in other browser the site (no logged user) and I can see the private topic at list. When click on private topic I get 404 error page.
