Private product added manually to order

    Hi,
    I have noticed that if I make a product private I cannot add it manually to an order via the backend.
    If i set it to catalogue visibility Hidden it can be added via the backend but is returned in search results.

    What’s the easiest way to hide a product from the frontend but allow it to be added via an admin generated order?

    I’m having the same difficulty.
    And I really need to add a private product on “admin”.
