    Hiya again!

I just published a couple of Posts ‘privately’ today, so only I can see them when I’m logged in. They load really fast, so they’ve obviously been cached, but where do the static html files for those posts get stored. Using sftp I looked at the folder ‘2023’ and then the folder ’03’ and then ’26’ from within the ‘cache’ parent folder, but I couldn’t see either of the Posts – I was expecting to see them there.

    Thanks
    Steve

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The private pages are not cached.

You can check a page was cached or not easily. If a page is cached, at the bottom of the html source there is a text like “<!– WP Fastest Cache file was created in 0.330816984177 seconds, on 08-01-14 9:01:35 –>”.

Thanks Emre. Is there any way to technically cache Private Posts?

it is not possible because when a page is cached, the page is saved as a static html file so PHP does not work.
