# Private pages?

 * Sorry for another question. I’ll make it quick.
 * Im designing a website for my mate. I’ve used WordPress as the main system behind
   it, and it’s perfect for what it does. Now my mate has asked if there is any 
   way that wordpress can create a “private” page which can be edited via wordpress,
   but isn’t linked in anyway (ie: doesn’t show up as a wordpress page / catagory/
   post) but can still be edited via wordpress, and only accessed via a certain 
   URL!?
 * Is there a plug-in which can help?

 * This just hides the page but doesn’t make it inaccessible for others if they 
   know the link. If you are using something like [http://example.com/?p=2](http://example.com/?p=2)
   for your posts and pages links then it would be very easy for someone to just
   test all links out.
 * For now there is no way in WP to restrict access to pages for certain users. 
   This may be possible with the next version of WP if the necessary changes in 
   the database are done.
