 * Hi there,
 * Here is my case:
 * I run a raiding guild in world of warcraft. Therefore there is a few things that
   I need to be able to do while running a website.
 * 1) Run a blogging system with a personal design. [Easy with wordpress]
 * 2) Run a forum with private forums which only certain forum members can access.[
   Difficult]
 * I’ve been trying to find a mod to bbpress that allows me to modify users permissions
   to forums.
 * Ex:
 * **General Discuss** (Public Access)
 * **Applications** (Public Access)
 * **Guild Discuss** (Hidden unless permission given)
 * **Officer Chat** (Hidden unless officer permissions given)
 * **Boss Strategies** (Hidden unless permissions given)
 * I know this is available to be done in phpbb, but as far as i’m concerned modding
   phpbb is ridiculous. I have found more success in modding WP and BBPress to make
   it eye pleasing.
 * I was wondering if anyone knew a few of key pieces of information so that this
   will work out smoothly.
 * [A] Which version of WordPress do you recommend? So that when integrating BBPress
   with it I do not get a “/” after every apostrophe that I use.
 * [B] Which pluggins I could use to make sure that people can still register for
   the forums but cannot view/post in the forums that I have not givin them access
   to. Also if possible have private message able to be sent to members.
 * [C] Which event calendar I should use to smoothly post events quickly and efficiently.
