I am testing free version of WP Customer Area plugin.
Private Files is enabled in settings but it is grayed in Capabilities and when I login as test user, I don’t have files menu.

Please advise if Private Files should work in a free version of plugin?

    Hi,

This usually happens when you did not fully configure the capabilities. Start by checking our Getting Started tutorial. Then the Files menu should show up.

    Regards.

    Hi Thomas,

Thank you for your reply but it is still a problem.

I have reset all settings and done everything by the book and still no luck.
Also, I have deleted hosting account that we have with GoDaddy, installed everything from scratch, new WordPress and even downloaded TwentyTwelve+ from you site and still no luck.

Unfortunately, I can’t attach a screenshot here but Private Files option is enabled, Private Pages are enabled too but on Capabilities page, General is active but Private Files and Private Pages are there but Disabled, so I can’t modify permissions for pages and files.

Do you have any other idea?

I am happy to schedule a call and share my screen if you would like to have a look and play with it.

    Hi,

    Please ignore my previous message.
I managed to get files working by going by the book once again 🙂

    Hi,

Great. Do not hesitate to use our main support forums next time, where you’ll be able to post screenshots.

    Regards.
