 * Having the same issue as topic below, but can’t find a fix.
    ( [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-google-calendar-widget-private-events-1?replies=2](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-google-calendar-widget-private-events-1?replies=2))
 * When events are set to be private in Google Calendar, a bullet point, date, and
time still show up in the widget.
 * Short of creating another calendar for these events, do you have any suggestions?

   Many thanks.

 * DO you have the calendar fully public or do you have it set to “Show free/busy
   time”?

 * The calendar is fully public.
(and it has a few private events within it).

 * I had a similar problem. What I ended up doing was pulling events based on a
search query “Public Event” and including this keyword within the event description
for all events that were public, leaving it out of events that were private.
 * There may be a better way, but this works so far!

 * There is a better way:
In the event details form from Google Calendar, in the“
Show me as…” filed, just mark your private event as “available”, and nothing
about your private event will be shown anymore on wordpress. Best regards
