Private anonymous IP

    Hi,

    I just installed the plugin for google analystics with settings:
    Global Site Tag / gtag.js

    If i want ip’s to be anonymous, is this automaticly installed in the plugin with enabled that setting: “Enable support for IP Anonymization” ?

    Or should i then still add: the text {‘anonymize_ip’: true} in Custom Tracker Objects field?

    Yeah you still need to add the required argument as prescribed in the Google docs. Then after adding make sure to save changes and examine the source code of your web pages to verify that your code is correct (based on what is shown in the docs).
