• Hello, just installed the plugin, I’ve added the link Privacy in a drop down menu when in Settings. When going to the site I was prompted to Agree to the updated Policy however the page showed my Home Page rather then what I assume should be the Privacy Policy page, and the link below to click to agree was a link to register not the policy. Terms agree check box and link was fine and went to the correct page.

I can’t see any of the plugin windows. I’m not seeing the privacy bar, nor the privacy updated modal. Did you finish setting up the plugin?

I’m not seeing similar Dashboard options. I’ve only worked in the General tab with the Policy and left Banner and Excerpt blank as I’m not sure yet what goes there. Under cookies I only have Add Tab not what the demo page here shows.
My Dash has 3 options Request/Tools/Options within each are 3 tabs so it seems some things are missing like Consent Management and Privacy Preference which I can’t find access to

Same here. In my case I think there’s some kind of conflict with the SiteOrigin pagebuilder plug-in.

Just FYI we have been testing GDPR plugins and just installed yours onto a site.

We have created a privacy policy page but when we load the site we are shown the iframed version of this privacy policy page but clicking AGREE or DISAGREE doesn’t do anything. ‘AGREE’ and ‘DISAGREE’ are just hyperlinked with # symbols.

Hi guys. I would like to request that you open individual topics so I don’t get lost while trying to help you.

The plugin saves the privacy policy page ID in the database. Then it simply gets the contents of that page to display. It is a very simple process. If that is not working for you, you should really try deactivating your plugins and switching to a default theme to test this out. Also, make sure that your page has actual content in it.

I’m wondering if you have any javascript errors in your browser console. These buttons run AJAX functions that will dismiss the privacy policy notice. Please create a new topic for this so I don’t get lost. I want to help you all.

Important: In a future update, coming this week, this process will change a bit to be less intrusive.
