    Hi everyone,

    we are in the process of creating our privacy policy and terms of use for our website. My question: We connected our Paypal and Stripe account. Where is the data that website users enter stored in the donation form? Directly with PayPal and Stripe, or also on our website?

    Hi @melissateuscher!

    Great question! Most data entered on the donation form (Name, email, amount, any custom fields added to the form, etc) is stored in your site’s database. Payment information (Card Number, Card Name, Card Type, CVC, expiration date, etc) never touch your server at all, in the case of PayPal and Stripe. The fields themselves where that information is added are loaded directly from the gateway.
