# Privacy levels?

 * I’m quit new to docs, but I tried to create many buddypress groups and try to
   make my groups private or hidden.
 * So I want that only people from group 1 see the docs from group 1 and nobody 
   else. But right now everybody who is logged in can see the doc.
 * So do I misunderstand the following sentence?
 * “Docs that can be linked to groups or users, with a variety of privacy levels”
 * Is it possible to hide docs from one group to another group?

 * You are correct. Each doc has privacy settings that include associating a doc
   with a group and restricting access to members of that group. See this image

 * Keep in mind that as a site admin you’ll see everything, so if you want to have
   the “ordinary user” experience, you’ll need to log in with a non-admin user.
