That’s the Gravatar system, not WooCommerce. Gravatar pulls a profile picture based on the email address linked to a user. If your friend ever created a Gravatar account (or a WordPress.com account) with that Gmail address, the photo follows the email everywhere it’s used, including WooCommerce and any other WordPress site.
She can change or remove it over at gravatar.com by logging in with that same Gmail address. Once she updates or deletes the image there, it’ll disappear from your site too.
Nothing WooCommerce did, and nothing was pulled from Facebook directly. It’s just the email matching an existing Gravatar profile.
Hi @fullcolor!
Thanks for reaching out and for providing the screenshot.
I can confirm that the profile photo you’re seeing there is coming from Gravatar, rather than being uploaded or added by WooCommerce.
WordPress can automatically display a user’s Gravatar based on the email address associated with their WordPress user account. If that email address has previously been associated with a Gravatar profile, the corresponding profile image can appear automatically in WordPress user profiles, even though there is no option on the WooCommerce side to upload a profile photo.
This also explains why the image can be an old photo that your friend doesn’t remember uploading to this particular website. Gravatar works independently of your WooCommerce store, so WooCommerce isn’t retrieving the image directly from Facebook or storing it as a WooCommerce profile image.
Your friend can check the Gravatar account associated with that email address and update or remove the profile image there. Once the Gravatar profile is updated, the image should no longer be displayed when WordPress retrieves the profile information.
You can find more information about Gravatar here:

I hope this helps.
Hi,
The problem has been found/resolved. It was an old WordPress account (from a school project), and she deleted it. The photo is now gone from my system as well.
Thanks again for the help.
Bianca
