[resolved] Priority support, a scam? + installation issues (8 posts)

    Hi,

    I just bought a $30 CAD priority support ticket from the developer's site, but I have no way to use it! I'm stuck having to wait 5 days to get a response. I think I've been ripped off. :(

    Here's the short version of my problem: I installed WPTouch on our site saudigamer.com. You can see the menu not working (probably due to a javascript error). Featured posts won't show either when enabled, I'll just see a huge space. What could be causing the issue?

    Detailed version of my problem:

    Hi,

    We just bought the plugin for our site saudigamer.com, and it's so broken, we can only get the basics to work.

    Here are all the issues we're facing:

    [ 1 ] We get this message whenever we try to save the settings, and it also breaks all the text and displays them incorrectly with grabase such as " Classic Redux خيارات سÙ":

    [ 2 ] We see a huge space at the top when we activate the slider, and that space seems to be hiding the latest posts as well! see attached screenshot

    [ 3 ] Every time I try to upload a pic (the logo for example), I get these messages:

    [ 4 ] The navigation is not responding, even though I've set it correctly!

    [ 5 ] the tweet button (the one I use a plugin) for, still shows on posts, even though I've disabled it in WPTouch settings.

    I tried using the debug log, but here's what happens when I open the debug log:

    This is a real mess happening here. Almost nothing is working right. What could be going on? I'm 100% the installation went right as I've re-installed it 3 times using 3 different methods.

    Please advise on how I can solve these issues. I've spent 3 hours already trying to solve these, and I can't afford to wait more.

    That's certainly unfortunate and surely frustrating to not get support when you've paid for it. But these forums are only for the free versions of plugins/themes, so you need to use the developer's site/contact for any issues. Sorry.

    I couldn't reach the developer, and I'm still having problems with the plugins so it's not about the priority support only :(

    yea you can only open regular tickets through that URL. I can see that I have priority support credits, but I can't apply them.

    Anyway if anyone can help me with why the menu on saudigamer.com (mobile version) not working I'd appreciate it

    what did you do to fix it? Did they ever respond to you?

    Yea turns out it was a server-side issue. I don't remember what it was exactly, but basically if you can't install updates and plugins from within your wordpress installation, then this problem will occur. Just fix that issue and this one will magically resolve itself.
