 * I downloaded and installed your software yesterday – very impressive!
    My website
   is hand crafted html – I’d like to consider redoing it using stylesheets, templates
   and the like. But looking at your documentation pages, I see lots of links to
   different things, but no ‘manual’ I can put my hands on and figure out how to
   build, not only a blog, but a complete site.
 * So my questions are:
    1) Can I use your software to create a (mostly static)
   site with static content, a photo gallery and a blog?
 * 2) Is there a manual I can print without having to wade through hundreds of individual
   web pages and print them one at a time that will help me get started, and maybe
   teach me how to effectively use themes and stylesheets etc. etc.
 * thanks very much,
 * nbc

 * 1) Yes, you can. WordPress supports “pages”, which means you can create your
   page content and if you leave it alone it will effectively stay “static”. There
   are a couple of gallery plugins available (a) Lazy Gallery and (b) WP-gallery.
 * Check at [http://wp-plugins.net/](http://wp-plugins.net/)
 * 2) No, there is no “printable manual” as such. You’re better off using the excellent
   WordPress Codex at:

 * If you would like, there is a document on the Codex that has links to the most
   important “info” and first steps you need to consider when learning WordPress.
   If you need printed out documentation, I’d print out the articles from this list
   to get started.
