Support » Plugin: Print-O-Matic » Print image in post

I am running into an issue with this plugin. I want to print an image from one post only but instead when I place [print-me target=”img”], I am getting all the pictures in the entire blog placed into one print. Is there anyone that can help? I don’t know much WordPress coding and I want to have a button for print so that family members can find and use it conveniently. Also, I place the code in each post, but is there an easier way to have it implemented to all post?

    Appreciate the help.

First the issue with printing only one image. If you set your target to print all items with the tag ‘img’ then that is what will happen. Does each image have a unique class or ID? if so, you can use that, as explained in the print-o-matic documentation.

    For class: target=”.my_class_name”
    For ID: target=”#my_id_name”

If you want the print button to show up on every post, automatically, you will need to make an adjustment to your theme (you are using a child theme, right?) This goes beyond the scope of our free support, but we would be happy to set this up for you on your site as part of the premium support that comes with print-pro-matic.

hope that helps point you in the right direction.
