Hi there, could you provide a link to the exact page or post you’re trying to print so I can take a look?

Hi Kathryn,
on my site I’m using Writr version 1.0.8:
organspenden-macht-sinn.de
“Home” content is presented by a page, not a post.
I changed some basic colours (style.css) and commented out the comments template. I first thought the printing error is a result of my changes. So I checked all modified files by file comparison and couldn’t find the fault. Then detected the same issue with the demo version …
http://writrdemo.wordpress.com/
where “Home” and pages of “Recent posts” show empty previews, too.
“Parent page” and its childs behave a little bit different from “Home”, at least there is a header and a footer provided by the printer/spooler.
Thanks for the additional info. I’ll pass it along to our developers so they can have a look and we’ll keep you posted here.
Can you confirm that you only see this issue in Firefox? I just tested in Chrome 35.0.1916.153 and I see content in the print preview.

Confirmed – it’s only in Firefox.
I did put in a bug report on our end for this. Our developers fix bugs in order of priority and based on how many users the bug affects, so it may be a while before we get to this one as I’m not sure how common printing off websites is these days – but at least you can print from Chrome as a workaround. 🙂
Howdy @siglic! This was a weird one, but I think we’ve found the fix. You can download the latest version of Writr here:
