If you set the permalinks to ‘plain’ (yeah I know it’s bad for SEO but this a play site) and try to print a recipe from teh print icon, you will get a ‘Not Found’

    Not Found

The requested URL xxxxxxxxx/wprm_print/218 was not found on this server.

Switching the permalink to a ‘pretty’ version and you can then print.

Right. I’ll look into making it work for plain permalinks as well. But anyone should be using pretty permalinks like you mentioned anyway.

I was just looking into this and the print functionality is actually working fine for me, even with plain permalinks.

Have you tried flushing your permalinks by basically just going to the Settings > Permalinks page and saving the settings there (no need to change things)?

Nope, doesn’t work for me. If I change the permalinks to something other than plain it works but once I change them back to plain it fails. The usi is this format

Very strange. It definitely works with plain permalinks for me.

It could be a compatibility problem.

Try disabling all other plugins for a second and see if it works then.
If not, try switching to a default theme (like Twenty Seventeen) and check again.

Make sure to flush in between before testing.

No plugins but this one, twenty-sixteen, cache cleared problem still occurs in Safari, FireFox and Chrome.

I’m not going to worry about it since it works with pretty permalink.
