After having tried Simple Page Sidebars out, Nothing I put in the Primary Widget Area is shown on the page.
I deleted the plugin and tried to put my menue in the PWA but it’s not shown on the page. Then I tried to put the menue in the second Widget Area, and the menue is vissible… on the right side of the screen. So the menue works fine.
I can put no matter what in the Primary area, but nothing shows.
Please – how can I get it back???

  • Hi LSC !

Can you tell us what is your WordPress theme ?
Witch plugin did you delete ?
    What’s “PWA” mean ?

Do you want to know how to add a Custom Menu (primary or not) in your Sidebar with a Widget ?
You’ll find help here about it : https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/custom-menu-widget/

Does the page(s) have the option to select which sidebar will it use? I don’t know which theme you’re using and how it handles the widget areas etc.

    Hi. Sorry for being unclear.
The theme is one I made myself with Artisteer
The plugin was Simple Page Sidebar
PWA was instead of writing Primary Widget Area (Sorry, was lazy here)

The reason for my messing up the side, was that I wanted to make one menue on some of the pages and another menue on other pages.

Since I couldn’t get it to work, I removed the plugin, and then I couldn’t see anything in Primary Widget Area. After having re-installed the plugin, I can see it again.
Media X – yes, when the plugin is installed, I can select which sidebar, but not when it’s not installed

Now it works, as long as the plugin is installed.
It turned out that the Show default sidebar wasn’t checked on the pages.
I think I’ll leave it to that for now (don’t dare removing the plugin again… atleast not now)

    Thank you folks :0)
