I have a local install runnin on MAMP, WP 4.9.5 with Popup Maker 1.7.14 on Sierra. I am testing with Safari 11, Chrome 65 and Firefox 58.0.2.

I cannot create a trigger according to the written or video documentation in a widget in the Entreprenur theme by Themotivation (Envato).

Despite my efforts the best I am able to get in Chrom and Firefox is a hack, where I steal the code from the WP top toolbar to get a modal with no theme applied to it and thus no close button.

In the attached film I show the different approaches I use to get the trigger to work.

    EDIT:
Checking the functionality after having shut down Chrome and Firefox for hours is that it works with the hack, unless I am running the page in an incognito/private window.

However, shouldn’t the solution work without me hacking it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
