    Hello everyone,

    I have a problem with the CSS. No matter what I try, I cannot assign a “current” background color (With this I mean when you click on a menu-item, and it takes you to the page; that menu item being highlighted, telling you that you’re in that page).

    I thought this would be the place to edit:

    #primary-navigation .current_page_item > a {
      background: none;

    but i cannot make it work.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi denizgezgin

    Can you give me a link of your site, it’s easier that way 🙂

    Sure Riccardo,

    This is what I’ve come with, so far…

    Alright, try with this and let me know if it works (I maintained the rounded shape and the same orangish color when you hover over the menu)

    #menu-anamenu li.current-menu-item {
      border-radius: 50px;
      background: rgba(250, 160, 95, 1);

    All right! Works like a charm, thank you very much!

    Oddly, i cannot change active (current) text color.

    color: white;

    does not seem to be working, even as color: white!important;

    This is mostly resolved, thanks to you:)

    Alright try with (#menu-anamenu li.current-menu-item a) instead 🙂

    This did the trick nicely, thank you very much again:)

    No problem, glad to help!

    hello again,

    after some time, i encountered another problem, connected to this one.

    I’m using “#menu-anamenu li.current-menu-item a” on the CSS code, but this also affects the ARSIV dropdown menu’s content.
    How can I exclude the content of the dropdown menu? What code should I add to make the items in the dropdown menu (sub-menu) not have a background at all.

    Thank you very much,
