  • #nav-main ul.sf-menu li.current-menu-item > a {
      background: #b43b3b;
      color: white;
    }

    You can use that css.

    Thanks, it works perfectly !

    I want to apply similar, but to the <li> tag of the primary menu so it appears as a block. I have this:

    #nav-main ul.sf-menu li.current-menu-item {
    background: #f47c75 !important;
    }

    But it doesn’t work. How can I make it work?
    Thanks in advance.

    bridieamelia,
    The code that Ben gave should do this. Can you please link to your site?
    In the future please do not post in a resolved thread as it can easily be overlooked.
