I have a new issue that was not happening until activating the child theme. With onepress-child active, when I go to Customizing –> Theme Options –> Site Colors, I am unable to change the primary colors. The primary color remains the default color #03c4eb even when saving and publishing.

Also, somewhat related: The footer color and footer background color can be changed unless the primary color is updated. If the primary color is updated, the footer colors go back to their default values.

Thanks for that suggestion. The developer found that it was an issue on my end only.

When I was trying to get my customization on onepress-child to match my customization I had on my original onepress, I copied the CSS from the onepress stylesheet to the onepress-child stylesheet to see if that would help. When that didn’t work, I ended up having to manually customize most of my child theme to match my original onepress. However, I forgot to revert the CSS that I had changed back to its original code, so there was a conflict!

I know. And that is me 😀
