# Primary category redirect

 * Hi. I’ve installed plugin yoast seo and I use primary category for posts. But
   if I added for example 3 categories for one post and add one primary category,
   i whatever have duplicate pages.
 * For example, i have tree of a categories:
 * Car park/Brands/Bmw/BMW X5
 * And If i add all of this categories in post, i have duplicate of it. I have a
   posts with url:
    Car park/BMW X5 Car park/Bmw/BMW X5 etc..
 * Can i fix it to redirect all of it to primary category?
 * Thank you

 * This happens when you use a permalink that contains the category. Each post is
   accessible with each assigned category URL, like so
 * example.com/category-A/post-name/
    example.com/category-B/post-name/ example.
   com/category-C/post-name/
 * To avoid duplicated content warnings from search engines, the canonical URL in
   the page source on every URL above would reflect the primary category URL. The
   canonical URL tells Google and other search engines your preferred URL for showing
   in search results.
