    Hi Nate,

    Great plug-in! Thank you!
My issue is that prices aren’t updating. When I change the price for a menu item via quick edit or on the item page, it updates and saves correctly in the admin section. However, it keeps showing the old price on the site (even when I open an incognito browser window).

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Anja

A couple more details and example…

    Here is the menu: http://www.twenty20grill.com/menu/

When I open it in Chrome, the Shishito Peppers show as $9 even though they had been changed to $10. I do a hard refresh (Shift & F5) on the page and they show as $10. However, when I load the page again, they are back to $9.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Hi @anjarex,

Well that’s strange. All I can think is that there’s a caching issue going on, possibly at the server level.

First, I’d recommend deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default theme to see if that fixes it. Then you can reactivate them one-by-one until you find the source of the problem.

If you still haven’t had luck after that, you may need to go to your web host for help diagnosing the issue.

    Hi Nate,

Thanks for your response. I just followed all your recommendations with no luck of resolving the issue. Also chatted with my hosting provider who insists that all caches are completely cleared.

This only happens in Chrome, but it even happens on a device that has NEVER loaded the content before it was changed (so it must somehow get the old content from the server).

Have a look at the item detail page:
http://www.twenty20grill.com/menu-item/shishito-peppers-2/ (for me in Chrome it shows $10 for the price which is the correct/updated price)

However, on the main menu page, it still loads the old price in Chrome ($9)

Let me know if you have any other ideas. Thanks again!

    Hi @anjarex,

I can only think it’s some kind of caching. There can be many different layers of caching, and it could be some kind of temporary caching that your page builder is employing as well.

I’d just reiterate that you should go back and deactivate ALL plugins except Food and Drink Menu, switch to a default theme like TwentySeventeen, and then check the menu. Check it by going to the Menus list in your WordPress admin area, and clicking the View link which appears under the Menu.

Eliminating potential conflicts, and then building up from there, is the only way to track down the source of the issue.
