Hello
We add current product (qty=1) to existing cart to calculate discount.
For example, we have 1 product in cart (price = 100).
When user visit product page again, he sees price = 90 (2 products has -10%).

Oooh I see, so your pluging basically shows the next price with discount if users adds more products. The idea isn’t bad, but it’s a little confusing.
The suggestion is too maybe not change the prices in shop page or in product page and only show reduced price in your mini cart, cart page and checkout page. Because if someone will use quantity based discount they will surely point out on their site if you buy 3 or more products that the price will be lower and I think that changing price only in mini cart, cart and checkout is enough. The reason is that the customers won’t think that they will get even more discount for the changed price in shop and product page.
Example: price changes from 100 to 80 in shop or product page when you add 3 products in cart, so now the price shown in shop or product page is 80. And site owners point out on their site that if you buy 3 or more products you get 20% discount. So the customer not knowing the price changed because they already added 3 products to cart, they will add 3 or more again thinking it will reduce even more. But the price obviously won’t change again.
So to avoid that or to avoid misleading customers, I think it would be best to just show original prices in shop and product page and only show reduced prices in mini cart, cart and checkout page like they are shown now, which is really good, with original price crossed, discount price and how much money does that discount save you.
What do you think?
hi
ok, I’ll add new setting to disable price modification at product page.
but it will be OFF by default.

Great! 😀
To be optional would be the best solution yea. Because some people will want to use the plugin how it is now and some people wont. Thank you for understanding and making it better.
Best regards.

Great!
I just tested it and it works nicely 🙂
But I noticed the prices still change in shop page, for now it only doesn’t change them in product page. Could you also make it for shop page, so the prices also don’t change there? For the same reason as I above.
Best regards
hi
We’ve already added separate checkbox for shop/category/tag pages.
I’m sorry, but it will be part of pro version.
thanks, Alex
