This may not be an error, but it certainly feels like a significant price display concern. When building a product carousel ad around a couple of products (US), I see prices that are much lower on the ad than what are available on Amazon’s main page. Upon digging, it seems the sellers are putting lower prices in but jacking up the shipping to make the price look substantially different than reality.

    Two examples are:
Product ASIN B00LBGSQ6C. In the Link Builder plugin, it shows a price of $9.99, a 79% discount off the original price of $47.45. On the Amazon page itself, I see a price of $39.54, a 17% discount off of an original price of $47.45. Digging into the other sellers I find a seller offering it for $9.99 + $42.79 shipping, for a total of $53.78 — high than the original list price.

Product ASIN B0025VP5J8. In the Link Builder plugin, it shows a price of $26.02, a 23% discount from an original price of $33.98. When I click through to Amazon’s actual page, it shows a price of $32.39, a 5% discount off $33.98. Digging into the other sellers page, I see a seller selling it for $26.02 with $39.03 shipping, for a total of $65.05 — high than the original list price.

Shipping costs should certainly be calculated into the overall price displayed in these ads, so that proper comparisons can be made.
