    I’m sorry for bringing this old chestnut up again, but I have checked the best I can to find and work from previous answers, and I’ve half got there, but need to complete the other half please

    Basically I have what is an expensive ‘core product’ with a series of smaller options that can be added to it. As you might imagine this looks a bit silly when something costs $3000 and the the ‘price from’ function lists a related product as costing $200 (in fact its pretty misleading) as well as giving the impression that I don’t what I’m doing (which is uncomfortably close to the truth of course!!!)

    Now thanks to somebody posting this:

    .products .price {
    display: none !important;

    I’ve been able to disable the price the showing in the shop (so thanks to them for that) but it still leaves with the price from fucntion showing on the product page. I’ve managed to trick it into showing $0.00 by entering PNG file as a product and not setting a value for it, but it still looks poor.

    Somewhat improbably I managed to enter this code into the CSS file following your guidance, but some of the other answers included things called filters and looked to be custom coded for a specific site. These also involved the Theme Functions PHP file (which i did locate eventually) but was confronted with a message that said that if I posted anything into the wrong place “the sky would fall down”. Now clearly this was enough deter my amateur endeavour or at the very least enough for me to seek assistance before this rather apocalyptic turn of events took place (I didn’t fancy starting a thread asking how to put the sky back!!!)

    All I’d really like to be honest is any code (preferably related to the one that worked for the Shop page) that would do the same trick for the Product page and simply eliminate the price from function complete with the currency display please

    Again I might need directions rather than an instruction, but if it revolves around the CSS file editor I can do that now

    If you only have on product the cleanest solution might be to remove the prices altogether (except the one which appears when you start selecting the variations). You can do this by adding the following to your themes functions.php file;

    remove_action( 'woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item_title', 'woocommerce_template_loop_price', 10 );
    remove_action( 'woocommerce_single_product_summary', 'woocommerce_template_single_price', 10 );

    Many thanks James

    I did send you an email expressing my gratitude, but just for archive I think it’s appropriate to record here too

    James, you are a gentleman and a scholar!!!

    I plucked up enough courage and entered it in the short-codes section at the foot, and it appears to have had the desired affect in seconds

    Many thanks
