    Hello,

When you select a ticket, the price comma changes and you end up with a ticket at Chf 32’500 instead of Chf 325.

Once you select the ticket there is no problem, it is only in the display next to the book button.

The site is under construction, there is a password to access it which is :
    fabienne

    Thanks for your help

    Hi @davood1975,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We’ve seen reports of a similar bug relating to currency formatting in the subtotal area of the tickets form.

I’ve added this thread to our internal tracking, and we will update you here as progress is made on a fix.

    Thank you,
    Erica

    @davood1975,

I can understand why that would make your buyers hesitant! Please allow me to check in with our devs for an approximate ETA on this fix.

    Thank you,

    Hi @davood1975,

I checked with our devs, and the issue you’re experiencing sounds like the result of the plugin loading our V1 ticket block. We released a hotfix last week that corrects the issue.

Please update to the latest version of Event Tickets, and let me know if the incorrect subtotal behavior is fixed. If it persists, please head to Events > Settings > Display and enable the Enable Updated Tickets Experience setting, then recheck.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thank you,
    Erica

    Hi @davood1975,

For some reason, your site seems to be loading the old tickets block.

Please add this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file, and let me know if it corrects the issue:

    define( 'TRIBE_TICKETS_NEW_VIEWS', true );

    Thank you,
    Erica

    Hello @eiide!

I have the same problem. And unfortunately, the snippet destroys the layout and the functionality. I cannot add any tickets so that I’m not able to see, if the problem is solved.

Hope for a soon solution. Thank you.

    Hi @sinnesfreude

Sorry to hear about this. Let me give you a little bit of background on this.

The ticket block itself has two versions.
The issue exists when the initial (v1) version of the ticket block is rendered on the front-end.

Later on we have made improvements to the ticket block and also made the RSVP and ticket block more aligned. I’m going to refer to this as v2 or “Updated Tickets Experience”.

When v2 rolled out – back in 2020 – , to keep things backwards compatible we left v1 in place, otherwise websites using v1 would have had trouble. All this with the notion that v1 will be deprecated.

If you want(ed) to switch to v2 you have to check “Enable Updated Tickets Experience” under Events > Settings > Display tab.

Basically adding define( 'TRIBE_TICKETS_NEW_VIEWS', true ); into your wp-config.php file does the same thing.

With all that said, the v1 version of the ticket block is deprecated at this point and is not receiving any more updates or fixes. v2 should be used.
If you install Event Tickets on a new website now, then you will get the v2 version for the ticket block by default and there is no way to use v1.

In some cases on older sites it happens that some setting is stuck and the v1 version is rendered still on the front-end. This can be fixed with adding the above define in wp-config, especially if you cannot find the aforementioned setting.

In order not to disrupt your live site, you might want to test this fix on a staging site first and do further adjustments that are needed. Once you see it works do the same on the live site.

You mentioned that the snippet destroys the layout. Can you maybe share a screenshot of what is happening? Maybe I can help fix it or give you pointers what to check.

    Cheers,
    Andras

It’s been a while since this thread has been active, so I’m going to go ahead and close it for now.

Feel free to open up a new one if anything else comes up.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

A quick update, a fix for this is planned for the upcoming release.

We’ll post an update once that is out. At that point the define() that was added to wp-config.php can be removed.
