Previous/Next links

  • I just updated my WordPress and now the links at the bottom of my pages look as follows:

    « Previous Page — « Previous entries « Previous Page · Next Page » Next entries » — Next Page »

    It’s a huge mess where there used to just be ‘previous entries’ and ‘next entries’. I would prefer to go back to that, but I’m having trouble finding where to change the settings.

  • This is the coding that I had before & still have, yet somewhere along the line things got all screwy:

    <p><?php posts_nav_link(”, __(”), __(‘« Previous entries’)); ?>
    <?php posts_nav_link(‘ · ‘, __(”), __(”)); ?>
    <?php posts_nav_link(”, __(‘Next entries »’), __(”)); ?></p>

    I’d really appreciate any guidance I can be given!

    I completely redid the coding for those links & customized it using the info here:

    It’s looking good now. Still have no idea why it got so messed up in the first place.
