  • I don’t mean this in a bad way, I can’t get my wording right.. so I think I’ll just give you an example: Ifelse.co.uk

    Do you see how the first post shows up perfectly fine, but the others/previous posts are all cut off (to ‘read more’)?

    How do you do that?

    I think it maybe something to do with get_posts() but I’m not really sure..

    Probably just a specially coded Loop, which uses the_content() for the first post and then uses the_excerpt() for the rest of them, with different styling. Or something similar to that.

    Making the first post different is easy. It’s the styling that’s where all the trickery is.

    I’m confused. 🙁 But thank you for the speedy reply nonetheless.

    Would this also help with my archives? (to shorten them _all_) Or for the archives, would I just better off with an unordered list?
