Are you updated to the latest version (2.2.5)?

    The update just appeared today.
    Looks like that solved it.
    Thanks.

Awesome, thanks for confirming. Glad it all works properly for you now 🙂

    Thanks!

P.S. If you get a chance would you mind leaving a plugin review (if you haven’t already)? It helps a ton.

Looks like I spoke too soon.

While it is working now in Chrome on mac, it is hanging on safari and ff on mac as well as IE edge.

I am not getting the -1, it just hangs on ‘Loading…’

Hmmm alright, we will check into that. Thanks for the update.

For starters, does it work on a default theme without the other plugins?

It still happens when all plugins are disabled.

Something interesting happened though. After I logged in it worked and kept working after logging out.

Though it is still not working for others not logged in.
    I noticed this console error:
Failed to load resource: The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting http://rosalindwiseman.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php to a server that is pretending to be “rosalindwiseman.com” which could put your confidential information at risk.

I just tried in Chrome and don’t see the -1 issue. Is it happening in a certain browser or OS?

    Hi Nick.

You have to read the history.
The -1 issue was resolved by the update that had come out after I posted.
Now it is a different issue.
The last couple of posts explain it in detail.

    thanks.

Ok I see that it is getting stuck on the “Loading…” for non-logged in users, but I still did not experience that when I viewed your site.

The console error could definitely be an issue, since we use AJAX and it needs the WordPress admin-ajax.php file that is being referenced in that error. SO we definitely need to find out what is causing that issue to occur on your site.

I know you said that the issue is still happening with no other plugins installed, but did you also try switching to a default theme? See this link for reference as well if you need: http://wpdocs.philderksen.com/google-calendar-events/misc/theme-and-plugin-conflicts/

Hello. I seem to be having a similar problem. But mine is not that it gets stuck on Loading, but rather that when I’m not logged in and press either Préc. (Previous) or Suiv. (Next), the calendar disappears and it is replaced by… my website. You have to see it to really understand, it’s hard to put into words.

Here it is, in its normal state.

And now, with the problem visible.

There is also an error log in Chrome’s developper console.

I’m relatively new to WordPress, but I’ve done all the basic checks that you’ve recommended. I’ve deactivated all plugins, but the problem remains. It does work when I revert to one of the basic themes, but I have no idea what could be the source of the problem in my custom one. Still, I wonder if my problem could be related to alvarix’s ? Well, this is why I’m here, after all.

    Thanks.

    @riku5001,

Is your theme from themeforest by chance? That is definitely an odd problem. Do you have a link you could share so I can see it in action?

    Thanks!

Assuming this got resolved since there are no recent replies here. If you have any other issues please let us know.

    Thanks!
