Previous month view not showing (only loading)

    I just updated my test-installation to the recent version 4.0.5.

    the current month view is showing correctly.
    but when I click on previous month link (<January), when the page is loading and nothing happens afterwards.

    if I click on January and “open in new TAB” the page is opening quickly and correctly.

    since this is my test-installation I am not 100% sure, if this worked before the update to 4.0.5. but pretty sure.

    Same problem in wordpress 4.4.1.
