    Hi all.

I just started working with WordPress and I have a scenario where I need to show, in WordPress, a list of resources (images) from a remote location (FTP, dropbox, cloud drives, or something).

The objective is to present the user with a list of possible resources to work with, and eventually add desired ones to the media gallery.

I am not looking for remote grabbers or any other plugins that download blobs from urls. I want to actually preview images stored in the cloud as a shared repository for different WordPress setups.

So far, I have only seen this tip where a network ftp folder is created locally and seen by WordPress as a basic folder, but I would like to check if anyone has any other ideas, now with the cloud and such.

    Thanks.

Well, if you can't find it, you can always create it.

For others who find themselves in the same situation, I have published my SkyDrive previewer/downloader plugin here:
    http://codecanyon.net/item/skydrive-downloader/4244547

    Requirements:
    - curl
    - windows live app (http://manage.dev.live.com/)
    - skydrive account and folder with images
