# Preview fails, uses default permalink

 * I migrated my WordPress site from one server to MediaTemple.
 * When I click “Preview,” it loads the default permalink structure instead of the
   pretty permalink structure.
 * WordPress generates this link for Preivew:
    [http://www.example.com/?p=6318&preview=true](http://www.example.com/?p=6318&preview=true)
 * WordPress generated this link for the actual post
    [http://www.example.com/2010/05/04/test-this-post/](http://www.example.com/2010/05/04/test-this-post/)
 * If I submit the article, the post works fine.
 * Can anyone help fix the preview permalink?

 * Looks like I resolved this.
 * When I moved my blog, the URL was incorrect for one of two lines under Settings
   > General
 * WordPress address (URL)
    and Blog address (URL)
 * Needed to be reset to my actual URL. It was set to the MediaTemple s#####.gridserver.
   com default.
