# Prevent WP from modifying text when posting ?

 * Is there a way to tell WP “please mate *just dont modify anything* when I press
   post” ?
    WP 1.2 “eats” backslashes (see [here](http://wordpress.org/support/4/6222)),
   if modifies the `"` into fancy quotes even if using a pre monospaced font, and
   stuff like this, which makes it quite hellish to post pieces of code. Is there
   such an option in any config file ?

   alone if you post between ` `

 * Ah, missed this post. Actually no it’s not enough but thanks for mentionning 
   this, it might be a good start to improve the concept.
    Well, once I really make
   the step from Perl regexp to PHP of course ;/
