Prevent woocommerce to create manual order from out of stock products

    Hi everybody.
    How to prevent woocommerce to create manual order from out of stock products?
    By default, you can add an out of stock product to manual order in admin panel, and set order status to completed!
    For example Woocommerce just set a note for you: “sample product stock 0 -> -1” !!
    How can I prevent this?

    Hi there,

    Just to check – Do you have “backorder allowed” for that product?

    Thanks RK.
    But i already checked backorder to “not allow” in woocommerce. not allow is my default value for all of my shop products.
    This problem is related to manual orders in admin level. When i create a new order with admin right in admin panel (not in foreground of my website), woocoomerce let me to add a product with 0 stock, and when i create order, woocommerce will change stock from 0 to -1 !

    Hi @max1990, this is expected behaviour so that the admin can overrule the setting if required. To make it so admin cannot add an out of stock item would require custom code.

    Hi @stephjacq and @max1990 How can we obtain this custom code?
    i need too to forbid the ability to add out of stock products from the backend for shoo managers

    I am having same problem in manual order from Admin. Product is out of stock but it is still allow to add it in manual order which does get count in total sales. As per logic, Admin also not allowed to overrule. This looks like bug in woocommerce
