Prevent users from registering more than once

    Is there a way to prevent users and/or IPs from registering with the same e-mail more than once? A plugin maybe?

    I’ve had a rash of people registering with the same e-mail 3 or 4 times a day (with different usernames). I opened registration on my WP powered fansite in the hopes that I would offer special content to the registered users one day.
