Thanks for your report. Revisionary 1.3.6 corrects the issue:
Fixed : Scheduled Revision publication updated post date even if “Update Publish Date” option disabled
It is still updating the original publication date to the scheduled revision date.
I can explain my use case. Most of the times I schedule new posts and with revisoniary I schedule revisions with links to the new posts. But when the new post is published I have now multiple posts at the top because of the updated publication date.
Are you sure you updated Revisionary to 1.3.6 and have “Update Publish Date” disabled? I confirmed bot the error with 1.3.5 and the fix with 1.3.6.
Of course, the updated version will not reach back and undo the post date update applied by previous revisions. You will need to manually the date of the published post before testing this new version.
Are you sure you are ordering posts by post_date, or might it be by post_modified_date? If you need post_modified_date left unchanged, that is a different issue and new feature request.
I’m not sure what you mean by “schedule revisions with links to the new posts.” If you are still seeing an issue with this and my replies do not clarify it, I would need Administrator access to troubleshoot. Contact help@publishpress.com if you’d like to pursue that.
