Prevent Product Publication going to RSS Feed?

    When I publish a new product, my RSS feed somehow picks it up. This is a problem as I use mailchimp to send out emails when there is new stuff on my RSS feed and I don’t want to send out emails every time I publish a new product. Can anyone think of a way to prevent product publishing triggering RSS feed?

    Hey @tallsam !

    The standard WordPress RSS feed should not include your products. It will only include your posts.

    As you can see from my test site there are no products in my feed even though it is full of test products:

    If you are using a plugin to manage your feed you may want to examine the settings to make sure this is not being incorporated on accident. Also, be sure you are using the correct feed url.

    The only plugin I’m using that has to do with RSS is “Send Images to RSS”.

    The feed I was using was Mywebsite.com/feed/

    Is it also legititamte to use Mywebsite.com/blog/feed/ ?
    If so, maybe that would make certain products wouldn’t go to RSS?
