Prevent plug-in update

Hi,

I have one plug in that I’ve modified quite a bit and want to prevent it from showing possible updates (to prevent from accidentally updating it and overwriting my changes). How would one accomplish this?

It is wp-note.

I could always update and then merge my changes in after, but I’d rather not have to do that. Unless the plug-in breaks with a new version of WordPress, I don’t see any need to ever update it.
