Prevent gif images from being optimized

    Hey Guys,

    When sending images to optimization it seems that it also optimize gifs for some reason and it leads to gifs not showing the animation.

    any insights on the subject?

    Hi @roeeyossef, our plugin just pass image/jpeg, image/png type file to optimize engine, did you see the gif image get optimized?

    The gif stopped showing animations until uploaded again. Is it possible that its related to the WEBp replacement? cause if not it must have been the image optimisation…

    Hi,

    Could you please check with browser dev tool and see what files is being load ?

    webp replacement will only replace it when .webp exists, if that file is not optimized then there woulnd’t be any webp file to replace.
