I have searched the forums and must admit, I’m having a challenging day, so maybe I missed the answer to my question. Thank you for your patience.

Does this plugin offer View Source (CTRL+U) protection?

If so, I am doing something wrong. Please advise how to accomplish this.

If not, is it possible to add it to the next update?

    Thank you so much!

Hi, no this plugin does not protect the view source option. It does however protect against right clicking and copying the content from the front end of the site. It also protects against hotlinking of images.

The plugin developers will investigate further your request.

    Thank you

    Hi @goddessprojects,
It is actually a futile exercise to try and prevent access to the browser HTML source code. I say this because there is usually always a way to circumvent virtually any technique which tries to stop people from viewing the HTML source code – and those methods which do appear to stop people from doing that will often involve trade-offs such as the user must have javascript enabled etc.
(I encourage you to do some Googling and research to see for yourself)

Therefore I don’t think it is worth at this stage applying any solution for this.

That is not what I expected to hear based upon the excellence that I’ve come to associate with your plugins…

I will contact the owner of the website that has this function enabled, as I have done research before asking this question.

    Thank you for your reply.

@goddessprojects, to further add to @wpsolutions comment above. I did do some research on the internet and found some very good pointers at stackoverflow website. Please read the following thread.

    Kind regards

    Hi @goddessprojects,
You are trying to hide something which really cannot be hidden otherwise your browser will not be able to render the content for you if the source code was hidden.

I recommend that you use your time and energy on something more useful to improve your site and don’t waste time on this

I asked someone who was interested in using his time and energy on creating better and more useful plugins and did not consider it time wasted on CREATING A SOLUTION or attempting to condescend to others. I now have a solution.

I suggest you give this attitude a try.
