# Prevent Comment self-notification

 * Anyone have any good plugin ideas for preventing comment self-notification emails
   when you publish a comment at yr own blog? I’ve tried Not to Me & never got it
   to work.

 * I think you might have to use the same email address as is listed for you as 
   a user in the control panel.
 * Otherwise, what version of WordPress are you using?

 * Anyone seen [this solution in the FAQ](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Working_with_WordPress#How_can_I_stop_my_own_comments_being_mailed_to_me.3F)?
 * Says it only works in v1.2 / 1.2.1 though. I wonder if there’s a similar hack
   for v2.x.
