# "Pretty Permalink's" create 404 Error?

 * Hi All,
 * I am really hoping someone can help me solve my issue.
 * I am trying to get the Woocommerce POS plugin working on my website (www.vvvineyard.
   com.au) but to no avail.
 * Every time I have the permalink settings I just get 404 errors constantly.
 * I have contacted my web-host (Ventra-IP) and they have confirmed that the “Mod-
   rewrite” module is enabled, however every time I change the permalinks from “
   plain” to any type of “pretty” I just get the 404 error message for every page
   of my webpage. If I change them back to “plain” the site functions as per normal.
 * I have posted the issue on Whirlpool, hoping someone there may be able to help(

   from this I have tried editing the .htaccess file but this has also not solved
   my issue.

   the twist.

 * I see on the [Whirlpool thread](https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2478939)
   that this problem seems to have been fixed. I will close this issue, but happy
   to reopen if the problem is not resolved.
