Pretty permalink displaying as 'gallery-2' rather than 'gallery'

Not sure why, but my gallery’s pretty permalink is displaying as gallery-2 rather than just ‘gallery’. There’s only one gallery. I’ve tried manually changing the permalink, but it reverts back to ‘gallery-2’. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
