# Pretty Links?

 * Hi all!
 * So, I am trying to figure out how to get “pretty” links, such as this example
   here: [http://sayralopez.com/](http://sayralopez.com/)
 * Everything is hername.com/about, or hername.com/contact. Are these permalinks?
   I am so lost on how to do this, if it’s something to do with wordpress setup 
   or hosting/domains… but I thought I would try here first.

 * How do I get them to be so short? In the permalinks how to, it says that need
   to go under a category (IE: TOPICS) but her site has pretty direct URLS… just
   hername.com/about..
