• Hi All,
Today a strange thing happened. I went to deactivate Pretty Links Lite and all of the sudden I can not access the Dashboard or any part of the backend. However, the frontend is fine, working as expected.

I am running a local install as I develop my site. Does anyone have a clue to what could have gone wrong? Can I fix this by going into the db? I really need help with this as I don’t know where to begin looking for ways to fix this.

    Thanks!!

  • Mattesque,

    did this get fixed?

I have just had the same problem updating plug-ings, Pretty Link Lite among them.

    Thanks,
    Michelle

I know I fixed it, but I cant remember what I did to do so. I may have gone into the backend via FTP and deleted the directory.

Ive got the same problem, even with the latest Pretty Links Lite. When it is deactivated, it whites out the site. This also occurs if the directory is deleted from the file manager – so the post above is not the solution.

Can someone help please? Pretty Links? I cant access your forum as it is for paid members only. It is not a good advert to pull someone’s site down if they deactivate your plugin.
